This afternoon we took the boat out for a spin! The lake was pretty busy, but big enough that you hardly noticed anyone else! The water is still pretty cold, so we settled for a few gentle tube rides and soaked up as much of the sun as we could. The kids had a blast and we were even able to convince Fin to hop on the tube for a bit! The glassy lake begged for some water skiing, but the water was just too cold yet! As we cruised around the lake taking in the views and mountains in the distance Mr. Stannix and I both commented on how blessed we feel. If there's one thing we've learned from this crazy time of quarantine it's that we could be completely happy with the simple life, spending time together day in and day out, and enjoying the little things that every day has to offer!
