The kids have been enjoying their time here on the Acreage. There's always something to be done and they are happy when they're helping! The extra space to run free is also good and Reese really enjoys going out without a leash.
Gramma gets a pretty good haul of cucumbers each day from the greenhouse. They have several different varieties. Some for pickling, some for eating.
Grampa always has an extra boy or two to help him water in the morning.
The garden grows taller each day it seems and soon it will be picking time!
We got a nice sized bowl of strawberries off the patch today and the littles had them pretty well eaten before we went inside. I sat on a bench in the shade of the greenhouse and watched them run through the sprinkler. They would run over every couple of minutes and grab a strawberry to wash in the sprinkler and eat. They are so juicy and yummy fresh out of the garden! It was a nice, relaxing way to spend the afternoon.
