Today we were grateful that Daddy was feeling well enough to make our traditional Grampy's tacos for Christmas Eve dinner. The big boys hung out in the kitchen and helped him flip the tacos and the littles and I helped fill and put the toothpicks in. With two pans going, we flipped and finished much quicker than usual and he was able to rest for a bit before we fried them all up for dinner!
Lainey spent the afternoon nursing and hanging out in her chair by the tree. She was so stinkin' cute in her new Christmas outfit (that's a little too big) and homemade booties.
We had my parents and some friends join us around the table and enjoyed delicious food and good conversation. When we were all stuffed with Tacos and after the kitchen was cleaned up, we headed into the living room and opened up our Christmas Jammies.
Thankfully, everyone was happy this year and everything fit great! I snapped a million group pictures and enjoyed laughing and visiting. Teenagers are so much fun!
The long sleeves got too hot, so a favorite tee shirt and some Nog were in order for this one.
We kept to tradition and didn't finish wrapping until after midnight again despite my preparation in the weeks heading up.
I always love admiring the tree late at night after everyone has gone to bed. I can't wait for the kids to wake up tomorrow!!
