One of the boys asked me today why I make them take so many photos.
It had been a rough morning and it's not always easy getting everyone to happily pose for a picture.
Tears welled in my eyes as I explained to this boy that I don't have many years left with ALL of them under the same roof, so these silly Thanksgiving photos in the leaves mean the WORLD to me as a mamma.
As I was snapping pictures this morning in the chaos, I didn't even notice Sawyer and Lily holding hands until I looked at the photos later in the day. It made me smile and realize that all of the crazy was worth it for that one little moment.
Grateful. Thankful. Blessed.
