My morning view & my night view.

Sunday

Today was warm and sunny! I snapped a few group pictures before church of the little ones. After church I loved listening to Sawyer and Cooper play and giggle on the trampoline together. Sawyer has become his buddy and it's the cutest! I spent the afternoon crocheting Lainey's blessing blanket while listening to instrumental hymns. It was quiet in the house with everyone outside playing and Lainey asleep in her rocker. I also managed a batch of cookies and basked in the heat of the oven as the timer dinged and I opened the oven door. My eyes are tired, my mind is weary, so I am finding peace & joy where I can.

Date Night

I love our slow, smile filled mornings with the three littles! After everyone gets out the door to the bus we take a deep breath and relax for a few minutes!

This morning Lily and Cooper just couldn't get enough of their baby sister!

Mr. Stannix and I snuck away to our favorite restaurant for date night! We always seem to have a little guest tagging along.

The Gun Mandu was extra crispy and delicious and we enjoyed our conversation!

Glorious Sleep

Lainey slept from 9pm-3:30am and then again from 4am-7am! I was able to sit her in her bouncer where she sat contently while I got everyone out the door to school.

I spent the rest of the morning supervising some coloring while I made ten loaves of bread, two lasagnas, tacos for dinner and cleaned the entire kitchen. I had a lot of extra energy after such a great sleep last night! I figured I'd better be productive!

The afternoon brought swimming lessons and smoothies. I cleaned up the playdough and coloring with Lily and then we tidied her room. When everyone finished their smoothies, they asked if I could come help tie some skates before dinner.

The setting sun made a glorious backdrop while the wind bit our cheeks and noses.

Stitch Incoming

Today was a rather quiet Tuesday. We snuggled Lainey girl, enjoyed some sunshine and collected eggs.

Cooper loves going out to do chores the odd time I beat my mamma to it. He is a helper, and enjoyed collecting the eggs and putting them inside the basket.

I spent some time cleaning dozens to take down to the sale fridge and clean out my main fridge. We aren't getting many extra eggs, but I do love when I can make pretty dozens like these!

At the end of the school day I got a call from the office asking if I could come in and pick Sawyer up. They were playing a game in the classroom and he tripped and fell resulting in a pretty huge split above his eyebrow. I packed up Lainey and left the other littles with Joe. When I got to the office, they were cleaning him up and applying ice. I gave him a long hug and then we decided we should probably head straight over to the hospital for a stitch or two.

The three of us hung out at the office for a few hours before Daddy joined us when he had finished work. I was then able to go home and make sure everyone had eaten dinner while Daddy helped him be brave for his stitches. He came home with a nice big bandage over his eyebrow that he has to keep on for the week. Poor guy!

Cooper Turns TWO

Mornings with Lainey snuggled up on my chest while the sun pours through the living room windows are some of my very favorite!

Today we celebrated Cooper's Second birthday with family and friends! I can't believe how fast these last two years have flown by!

Cooper Trooper is TWO! He sure brings a lot of laughter to our home! He speaks a lot with actions and hand signals. He will act out funny things that happened and try his hardest to make you understand (and he's pretty good at it). He has a pretty great sense of humor for a two year old and is a giant tease.

He loves to wrestle and rough around with his older brothers. He is enjoying sharing a room with Sawyer and I will often find that he has climbed into Sawyers bed after I've tucked them in. He loves being outside sledding or doing whatever it is we're doing. He will work right along side us and pitch in where he can (seriously, he carried an entire 2x4 across the lawn all by himself once).

He is good at seeing a need and filling it. He runs everywhere he goes and his mind moves a million miles an hour. He's always busy with sometime! He keeps us all on our toes, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Daddy had to help him blow out his candles and it was the sweetest! Happy birthday buddy!!

Priesthood Ordinations

This morning we all got up & ready for church! I was glad everyone was healthy enough to attend again.

Everyone fought over who would hold Lainey on the bench. She spends her Sunday mornings just being passed around from kid to kid.

One of my favorite ways to keep our busy toddlers still is to plop a baby in their lap!

Because everyone was sick last Sunday, we did not get to do Priesthood ordinations. We were able to do them right after church here at home and it was so nice to see these boys with there Dad and Grampa.

Finley was given the Aaronic priesthood and ordained to the office of Deacon. He is very excited to be able to pass the Sacrament each Sunday with the rest of the boys his age.

Joseph also moved up to the office of Teacher and was given a blessing by his Dad.

The priesthood has been a huge blessing in my life and I'm so proud of these two for their willingness to serve others and the Lord.

I'm also grateful for the blessing it is to have worthy priesthood holders in my home, and especially for Mr. Stannix.

Lainey got some Gramma snuggles in while she was here for the blessings. I made sure to sneak a picture because I don't know that I have any Gramma & Lainey pictures yet. I love my mamma!

More Basketball

This morning we woke up to this view and took off for breakfast at Denny's.

Lily was excited to wear her new outfit that Camilla picked out for her yesterday.

She also loved snuggling Lainey in the stands while cheering "LETS GO REBELS" as loud as she could. She is the best little cheer leader around!

Again with the gorgeous sunset views on the way to the evening game!

We played fairly late and did not get home until after midnight. It was a wild & fun weekend! I always love spending time with Mr. Stannix and my kiddos!
