Even though my little sister and I are five whole years apart, we are best friends! We shared a bedroom almost our entire lives, and even when we did have our own bedrooms, we would still sometimes sneak into the others bed. We would stay up really late talking, giggling, giving back massages, and sharing secrets. Sometimes, we would start laughing so much, that we couldn't be quiet any longer! Then, Mum would come down and we would have to be quiet. The odd time, Mum would start giggling too. We used to sneak up stairs together for midnight snacks. We also used to have bedtime snacks together. We would make toast and smother it in Nutella, then we would laugh and joke as we ate at the kitchen table. We've cried together, laughed together, shared secrets together, and joked together. She always makes me laugh, she is probably the quickest, funniest person that I know!! Now that I am married, I miss those special times with my little sister. We still do lots together, but I miss staying up late giggling in my bed with her. I am glad though, that we can still be crazy together and have fun together!! I don't know what I would do without her.She is your mirror,
shining back at you with a world of possibilities.
She is your witness, who sees you at your worst and best,
She is your witness, who sees you at your worst and best,
and loves you anyway.
She is your partner in crime,
She is your partner in crime,
your midnight companion,
someone who knows when you are smiling,
even in the dark.
even in the dark.

I am so glad that I have a sister to share secrets with. Someone who knows when I'm smiling, even in the dark of night. I'm glad she loves me no matter what, even if I gave her a few bad haircuts as a child. And I am thankful for the close relationship that we have!!
